About us

It is a sad fact that the majority of stolen property never returns to its rightful owner. If you suffer a loss in, lets say Lancaster, and your property is recovered in London, there is no liaison between the two places to identify you as the rightful owner.

UNTIL NOW

The National Antiques Register is a dedicated database that uniquely identifies owners and allows the Police to reunite property with the rightful owner regardless of location.

That is good news if you have a sentimental heirloom that is irreplaceable, and good news for the UK Police in terms of convictions.

There are of course other ways to identify property but they are easily spotted and easily altered.                                                                        The National Antiques Register is the only dedicated antiques database that links your property back to you REGARDLESS of location.

IMPORTANT SECURITY NOTES

The National Antiques Register is a secure database, the contents of which cannot be interrogated to see "who owns what"                                          The register is NOT an internet based data stream so therefore cannot be hacked.

If a lost or stolen item is recovered by the UK police, you as the owner still maintain your anonymity.
